Never underestimate the power of your #1 vote.
Your # 1 vote IS your vote that counts.
Anyone who thinks their # 1 vote doesn't matter so much need only think back...our city election history proves otherwise!
Remember Barbara Ackerman for Mayor? Everyone assumed she was fine in the next election, didn't need #1 votes, didn't get them-so she lost.
Remember when Alice Wolf-top vote getter as a school committee member for 10 years--Everyone assumed she would win, no need for #1 vote--- so she lost her first bid to city council.
Remember 1999 Katherine Triantifillou----very popular and came in the top 3? Then she assumed she didn't need #1 votes... Shocked everyone when she lost, too!
SO PLEASE REMEMBER...
