Voter turnout in Cambridge is very low today. I'm making one final personal request, asking you to please
come to the polls and vote before 8:00 tonight. And of course, I have to ask again for your vote!
With turnout being as low as it appears to be, I need every last vote that I can get. Because my name does not appear on the ballot, in order to vote for me you must EITHER write-in or place a sticker with my name on the ballot - then fill in the oval for #1. Your #1 vote is critical to this victory!
Together as a family, my husband and I took our one-year old son with us to vote early this afternoon. As you can imagine, this was a proud moment for me.
With all that is now going on in our city, as well as around this state and nationally, the very least we can do is make sure that we vote to elect public officials who not only share our values, but will go the extra step in fighting for what they believe.
I have never shied away from fighting for what I know is right. I love the City of Cambridge and hope to be able to continue working on your behalf. But I need your vote today in order to do so. Again, the polls are open until 8:00. Please take a few minutes to turnout and vote.
Thank you again for your support.
Most sincerely,
Marjorie Decker
